Transfer rumours are coming thick and Manchester United and Chelsea are making the headlines given the number of players linked with a move for them.
Man United are still interested in Brazil and Chelsea attacker Willian, and they could seal a deal for him this summer if Conte remains in charge of the London club, according to Skysports reporter Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
Willian was heavily linked with a move to Man United in the winter but somehow, United brokered a swap deal involving Mkhitaryan for Alexis Sanchez. Mourinho revealed at that time that he priority for the summer would be to sign midfielders but the uncertainty surrounding the future of Martial has prompted the Red Devils to be looking for a winger.
Willian was a key member of Jose Mourinho’s squad when they dominated the Premier League in his second spell. The 29-year Brazilian along Hazard helped Chelsea to win the Premier League and League Cup double in 2014-15 season.
Under Antonio Conte, Willian has not be a regular starter and he has reportedly fallen out with his boss – he came off the bench for the final minutes as Chelsea beat United to clinch the FA Cup title. It is widely claimed that the winger will call time on his Chelsea spell if Conte is not sacked.
“I’d say don’t rule it out simply because they did it with Matic as well,” Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“It depends on the managerial situation at Chelsea.”
