Good News: £54m-Rated Striker Will Join Chelsea But On One Condition

Chelsea primary target Gonzalo Higuain has revealed that he will join the English outfit if they appoint Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri as their new manager.

The 30-year-old has been handpicked to replace ineffective forward Alvaro Morata. The Blues forward struggled to reach his peak last term and has been a subject of debate since his return from injury.
Chelsea’s shambolic performance to the end of the last campaign which denied them a spot in the top four has questioned the tactics employed this season by manager Antonio Conte.
Despite winning the Premier League during his first tenure at the Stamford Bridge, Conte has failed to emulate such genius and has fallen out of favour in the eyes of players and fans, with some calling for his outright sack.
Meanwhile, summer prospect Higuain emerged as a good replacement for Morata and has been touted to switch to the West London club in the summer.
However, that may look hopeless at the moment with the forward strongly insisting that Conte must be replaced by only Massimiliano Allegri and no one else. This is according to ESPN FC pundit Alejandro Moreno.
According to Readchelsea, he said: “If Chelsea can convince Allegri to come to Chelsea, maybe he brings Higuain with him. Until then, I don’t think so.”
Chelsea currently remain undecided over Conte’s future despite gossips that he would be compensated and finally asked to leave his job. The Italian manager isn’t willing to leave the club either unless he is compensated as spelt on his contract terms with the Blues.
Higuain is valued at £54million according to transfermarkt.
